Current sponsored R&D includes ultra-low-power data converters and analog front ends for imaging applications, high dynamic range RF front ends, radiation-hardened ASICs, and solid-state neutron detectors.

Nu-Trek's services leverage off of the technology and ASICs developed on the sponsored R&D programs. Services include:
- Custom Design. Client funded design. Nu-Trek has excellent designers and consultants and a lot of experience with all aspects of mixed signal ASIC design. Reusable blocks are inserted into client products, if applicable.
- Collaborative R&D. Joint R&D funded by a government contract. Nu-Trek has collaborated with many Universities and prime contractors and is able to act both as prime and sub contractor.
- Reusable IP. The reusable blocks are for insertion in client products.
Nu-Trek has a secret facility clearance and all Nu-Trek designers are US citizens.
