Purpose : Simple model for bremsstrahlung production in transmission, reflection, and reflex diodes.
Description : The code approximates the electron energy loss with depth into the material and uses this loss to estimate the bremsstrahlung and K and L fluorescence generated at each depth in the converter. Self-absorption within the converter is used to attenuate the x-ray beam and to generate additional fluorescence. Bremsstrahlung is calculated with the spatially integrated Koch-Motz 3BN formulation.
DOSE (Nu-Trek)
Purpose : Code used to obtain dose, fluence, and spectral response functions from a complex configuration of filters, mirrors and detectors.
Description : Several code options can be used for specific calculations of dose deposition of parallel or series structures, channel response functions, cross sections, or optimum shield designs. |
